State Winter Games 2007 - October 6th - 7th
2007 State Winter Games hosted by Ballarat Region.
Oct 6th/7th - Basket Ball, Gymnastics & Tenpin Bowls
The Opening ceremony with the lighting of the Olympic Flame set the scene for the weekend!
Thankyou to the many volunteeers, parents and carers who supported this wonderful weekend. Your particpation enhanced a very successful event and left all paticpipants with fond memories of the two days. We look forward to your future particpation with our athletes.

Special Olympics relies on VOLUNTEEERS for all activities - if you are interested in participating, please contact our secretary.
Time keeping, Administrative, Sports Coaches, First Aid Skills, Fund raising, Event management, Media releases are just some of the areas.

SHANGHAI WORLD GAMES - October 2007
Final Leg of the Law Enforcement Torch Run- SO 2007 World Games- Shanghai,China.
Congratulations Leigh Madgwick from Loddon Campaspe Region who ran in the Final Leg of the Torch Run in China which started in Beijing.

2007 WORLD SUMMER GAMES - SHANGHAI, CHINA - 27TH September to 11 October 2007
The Special Olympic Australia Team to the 2007 World Games will be the largest ever Australian Team to compete at a World Games.
The Australian Team consists of 130 Athletes and 35 Officials.
Special Olympics Victoria athletes, congratulations on achieving many Personal Bests winning Gold, Silver & Bronze as part of the Australian Team.
